The Love Food - Love Bridport Market will be at the Millennium Green tomorrow (Saturday).
The Bridport Food and Beer Festival may not be going ahead this year, but organisers - Bridport Local Food Group - are putting on the next best thing; a free open-air food and drink market.
Bridport Round Table will be on hand with its beer gazebo and a small selection of local beers and ciders will be available. To eliminate the use of plastic on-site, everyone is asked to bring their own cup/glass. There will be a small number of glasses to buy on the day.
Members of Bridport Round Table will also be tempting to cycle 500 miles to raise money for Cycling Without Age Bridport and the skatepark redevelopment at Plottingham Playing Fields. Go along and support them! You can also donate here.
The popular Bridport Festival Tea Tent will provide a place to relax with a big cup of tea and slice of cake made by Colmers WI, or a scone supplied by West Bay Tea Rooms, with clotted cream from Hangers Dairy and jam from Cherry Tree Preserves. A new item on the menu this year will be hot buttered crumpets with marmite or chocolate spread. Discount will be given to those who bring their own reusable cup.
Festival raffle tickets will be on sale throughout the day for £1 each with prizes donated by local businesses up for grabs. The raffle will be drawn at 4pm and all proceeds will go back into running the Bridport Local Food Group.
Live music throughout the day has kindly been organised by local musician, Chris Deacon. Here's who is performing:

- 11.40am - Eve Appleton Scott
- 12.30pm - East Street Band
