There was a major emergency response in Bridport yesterday (Tuesday) after a cyclist was involved in a crash.

The air ambulance, Dorset Police and South Western Ambulance Service were called just after 4pm to the Crown roundabout on West Bay Road.

Dorset Police report it was a minor injury crash involving a car and cyclist.

We do not currently know if the cyclist or driver was taken to hospital or what injuries were sustained.

New rules have recently been included in the Highway Code that give cyclists priority on the roads. Find out more here.
