The two teenagers who were found dead at Bothenhampton Nature Reserve have been named.

Jack Michael Williams, 18 and from Bridport, and Katherine Susan Jane Powell, 17 and from Kenilworth, were found at the beauty spot on Tuesday, January 25. There next of kin have been informed and there are no suspicious circumstances.

There was an outpouring of sympathy and condolences from the community following the news and our thoughts remain with their families and friends.

Police put out an appeal for information and are asking the public to help them piece together the two young people's movements before they died.

The force has also referred itself to the Independent Office of Police Conduct.
