A man has come forward after police released CCTV images in relation to a report of an attempted burglary in Bridport.

Dorset Police received a report at 1.55am on Tuesday, March 22 that a man was trying to enter a property off West Bay Road.

Officers attended and carried out a search of the area, but the man was not located.

It was reported that no access was gained to the address and nothing was stolen.

Following a CCTV appeal, a man has come forward in relation to the incident and is assisting officers with their enquiries. No arrests have been made.
