More than £1,000 has been raised for charity by a Bridport supermarket this year, with £450 raised in just two weeks.

Keira Tait, Bridport Morrisons community champion, has been busy fundraising for the store's charity partner CLIC Sargent.

For the last two weeks, fundraising efforts have been Easter themed, which raised £450.

Keira said: "The first week I held a stall with Easter themed treats for sale and this raised £241. The second week I held an Easter raffle with over 10 different prizes. This managed to raise £209.

"I am really pleased to have raised £450 in two weeks. This brings this year's total so far to over £1,000 already."

Fundraising has also included a Valentine's Day themed stall, a stall for Marie Curie's Daffodil Appeal and items for sale in aid of World Cancer Day.
