In an absolutely incredible effort, 1,350 people received a vaccination at Bridport Medical Centre in just six hours on Saturday.
Vaccinators, made up from staff at Bridport Medical Centre, Lyme Bay Medical and Dental Practices, Charmouth Medical Practice and The Tollerford Practice and Barton House Medical Practice in Beaminster, did an incredible job, along with the volunteers who helped the clinic run smoothly.
Another vaccination clinic will be taking place at Bridport Medical Centre on Wednesday, February 10, in which around 1,300 people will receive a vaccine.
The West Street/bus station car park will again be available for those getting vaccines at the medical centre.
There is limited parking onsite which is mostly reserved for those with mobility issues who would not otherwise be able to get to the centre. Could those arriving at the centre by car have their face masks on when they arrive, including drivers.
The weather is set to be very cold, so pleased do dress up warm as there could be queuing outside, although it does move quickly.
Those arriving for vaccinations are advised its best not to arrive early - you will not miss your appointment.
Please avoid West Allington and West Road as the area is likely to be very busy, the team will do their best to keep things moving but ask that anyone local to please avoid the area.
