More than 7,000 people across the area have been vaccinated thanks to the team at Bridport Medical Centre.

This includes those attending the centre as well as teams visiting care homes and administering vaccines there.

The surgery is the main vaccination clinic hub for the Jurassic Coast Primary Care Network, which includes practices in Lyme Regis, Charmouth and Beaminster.

Along with the NHS team with staff from all practices working hard to vaccinate as many as possible, an army of volunteers has helped the clinics run smoothly by marshalling and helping patients.

Another clinic will be going ahead tomorrow and Saturday and residents are reminded to avoid the area as it will be busy with people attending for vaccinations.

Car parking has been made available at West Street car park for those getting vaccines and marshals will be on hand to help and direct.
