Due to rolling road closures in North Allington for more than a month, Washingpool Farm Shop is bringing its order and collect service to Bridport.

Road closures will be in place from February 8 to March 12 in order for Wessex Water to carry out works.

A spokesman for Washingpool Farm said: "We will be offering an order and collect from Bridport Football Club car park, Tuesdays to Fridays between February 8 and March 12 while the roadworks in North Allington are planned.

"We are very grateful to Bridport Town Council for its help and support with this.

"The farm shop will still be open - safer to access from the north as we are not sure which days the road will be closed between us and Bridport - and our order and collect from the shop car park will still be operational."

Email or phone your order by 11am for same day collection, or order in advance if you prefer. When your order is ready, a member of the team will call you for payment.

Collect from Bridport Football Club car park between 2pm and 3.30pm from the Washingpool van or lorry, but staff are happy to put the shopping in the car for you if you prefer not to get out.

Collections at the shop remain the same with a dedicated parking lane. Phone the shop from your car and a member of the team will bring your shopping out.

Those visiting the shop are reminded there is a parking system and a restricted number of customers are allowed in at one time. Please remember to wear a mask.

Washingpool will also have its Saturday market stall in West Street outside the Market House.
