Works to improve access to the disabled toilet by East Beach are complete.

A new path now runs from alongside the West Bay Discovery Centre from the Bridport Arms car park to the toilets.

The ramp leading up to the disabled toilet has been widened to be more suitable for disabled access.

The project was part of the Dorset Coastal Connections portfolio project, which received £5.6million from the Coastal Community Fund and is co-ordinated by Dorset Coast Forum.

After plans to make a boardwalk for East Beach to enable disabled access were found not to be feasible by the Environment Agency, the project was altered to deliver this new path.
