The station kitchen's brand-new carriage has officially opened - with some help from the mayor of Bridport.
The new addition has been beautifully decorated with bright colourful wallpaper, carpets and tableware, with a private dining area.
On Sunday evening, guests enjoyed drinks, canapés, music and a look around the carriage, which is now open for bookings.
The stunning new carriage was officially opened by Bridport mayor, councillor Ian Bark.
The carriage, named Beeching, arrived in West Bay in September this year and Claire and Ross Moore, owners of The Station Kitchen, have worked hard with others to transform it.
It was built in Gloucester in 1958 and Claire and Ross bought it from Toddington Railway Station in the Cotswolds where it had been used as a mess coach since 1993.
The pair chose the name Beeching as it is an ironic nod to Lord Richard Beeching, the chairman of British Railways at the time of the mass railway closures in the early 1960s.
