West Bay's tree on the green is now up and illuminated, brightening up the winter evenings.

West Bay Days' annual event attracted a large crowd which enjoyed mince pies from Harbour House care home, mulled wine and carols, with a service led by the Rev Philip Ringer.

The lights were officially switched on by Harbour House resident Liz Pawley, helped by her grandson Sebastian.

The tree will be lit up until January.

Last year, although the traditional festivities couldn't go ahead, a tree was on the green until Candlemas Day on February 2 to raise spirits.
