To celebrate one of the town's most-loved events returning after a two year break due to Covid, the Watch House Café is opening late this Sunday.

The team has spiced up its pizza menu, added lots of torchlight and fire puns to join in on the fun and will welcome DJ Lawson to play some chilled house music.

The torchlight procession on Sunday, August 21 involves hundreds, if not thousands, of people walking from Bridport's Bucky Doo Square to West Bay from 9pm.

So, after the walk to the bay, why not treat yourself to a well-deserved proper woodfired pizza and watch the fireworks.

The Watch House Café and sister site Hive Beach Cafe are also a big supporter of Bridport Carnival, taking place on Saturday throughout the town. They have sponsored the event, helping it to go ahead once again.
