Bridport Folk Festival is all set to go ahead next weekend, with three days of live music and events.

Organisers are busy sorting the last details and people are encouraged to get their tickets quick from bridportfolkfestival.com. The team is also on the look-out for volunteers to help during the festival with more information in the link above.

The folk festival team also wanted to make drivers aware that part of South Street will be closed on Sunday, August 15 when the festival is being held.

From 8.30am to 6.30pm, part of South Street from the town hall to the Gundry Lane will closed. The diversion is via Sea Road South.

Organisers apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
