Roadworks started in North Allington on Monday and will continue until March 12.

The road will be closed from different points for more than a month while Wessex Water carries out sewer rehabilitation works.

The alternative route, which will be signposted, will be via Melplash, Beaminster, Broadwindsor and Salway Ash.
