Several members of the Bridport Rotary Club are getting some much-needed pre-Christmas exercise by joining other volunteers in the delivery of Christmas post in and around Bridport.

The delivery service - for Christmas cards only - is run by the Dorchester & West Dorset Scout Council. It covers Bridport, Dorchester and many villages around the two towns. Full details, including a list of the delivery areas, can be found here.

Club president, Bernard Paull, said: "The Scout Post has been delivering Christmas cards since 1988 and has raised a huge amount of money to support Scouting activities.

"It is a pleasure to support this incredibly well run local initiative. Not by handing over money but by joining the many other volunteers to help another charity raise much needed funds."
