A seafront café bar is reopening tomorrow (Wednesday) under new management.

West Beach Café Bar on the esplanade at West Bay will be welcoming back customers after months of closure from 11.30am with Harry Murley at the helm.

Harry, who has managed award-winning venues such as the former Bridge House Hotel in Beaminster and the Anchor Inn, Seatown, is excited to be branching out on his own.

He said: "It's amazing to be taking the helm at West Beach. Covid has been really tough on everyone, particularly for us in the hospitality industry and I can't wait to get stuck in, meet the locals and welcome new guests.

"Tracey and Will, who own West Point Apartments and the café bar, have been super supportive in getting us set to open.

"This season will be like no other, and with any luck the weather will be on our side too."

West Beach Café Bar will reopen on Wednesday, April 14 at 11.30am and will be trading Tuesday to Saturday, 11.30am to sunset and Sundays from 11.30am to 4.30pm.
