Following the successful first fringe event at the New Inn in Shipton Gorge for the upcoming Bridport Folk Festival, a second event will be held this Sunday (June 12).

A range of acts will be performing at the Half Moon in Melplash from 12noon

Chris Deacon, organiser of Bridport Folk Festival, said: "We're immensely grateful to our hosts of both events. Andrea and team of the New Inn rose to the occasion and did us proud.

"Our return visit to the Half Moon will no doubt replicate the generous hospitality shown in previous years. Eleven acts will perform throughout the afternoon, featuring an eclectic mix of music from soloists, duos and five bands, that will be punctuated by a performance from Wyld Morris."

Although a fundraiser, admission is free and there will also be a hog roast on offer.
