Swim-spa among the applications in Bridport approved by Dorset Council this week

A swim-spa and camping pods feature in planning applications in the Bridport area approved by Dorset Council.
An application for five camping pods and a wash hut has been approved for New House Farm, Mangerton Lane.
The pods, each of 25 square metres, will be used in conjunction with the existing leisure fishing lake which was granted permission in 1999.
The pods are proposed for the edge of the lake with each having a veranda facing the water. The washroom, with showers and toilets, will be positioned close to the entrance to the fishing lake field.
At Manor Farmhouse, Bridport Road, Drimpton the council has approved the installation of a covered therapy swim-spa and has also approved the following applications:
Saxlingham House, West Road, Bridport, outline consent for a new home;
6 School House Close, Beaminster, single storey rear extension and rearrangement of windows and doors;
Brent Paddock, Axe Lane, Drimpton, new home;
Churchill Farm, Church Street St Mary's access road, Mosterton, new home;
Cockroad Farm, Cockroad Lane, Beaminster, demolition of derelict piggery, erection of new stable block and feed/hay store and menage.
