Following a positive run of results, Chris Herbst has been named the new Bridport FC manager.

Chris stepped up from the reserves to take the position temporarily following the sacking of Edgar Marcu in September.

The change appears to have steadied the ship with the side unbeaten in two games.

He will be assisted by Mark Lock, Kriss Radivojsa, and Physio Mark Tozer.

The club issued a statement on social media, saying: "This decision was made and agreed upon by Bridport FC Committee and Directors. We would like to thank all applicants for their interest in joining the Bees all had great enthusiasm for this position with excellent CVs."

Herbst's first game as permanent manager will be away to Newton Abbot Spurs on Saturday (8th).
