Here are the road closures and works affecting Bridport and the surrounding areas this week, which may cause delays to drivers.

George Street in West Bay will be closed until October 15 for Dorset Council to carry out drainage works

There will some disruption on Burton Road on October 13 with stop/go boards as Western Power Distribution carries out works.

Wessex Water will be carrying out works in Magdalen Lane until October 14. The footpath will be closed and there will be some incursion into the road. The company will also be carrying out works in North Allington from October 13 to 14 and there will be two-way signals.

Works are continuing in Main Street Bothenhampton as Dorset Council with the temporary loss of some parking spaces along the high wall.
