A local photographer has captured the start of the Covid vaccination boosters in Bridport with some beautiful photos.

Eddy Pearce, who set up Bridport Lockdown in 2020 to share a collection of images and stories to document the coronavirus pandemic in Bridport, snapped volunteers, doctors, vaccinators, medical staff and patients at the first session at Bridport medical centre on Saturday.

A spokesman for Ammonite Health Partnership said: "We were absolutely delighted that Eddy Pearce from Bridport Lockdown photo project was able to join us.

"This was an incredibly important moment for our community as we join to fight Omicron.

"Thank you Eddy. Your photos are, as ever, incredible.

"I'd also like to thank our amazing 'navigators' - younger community members who have stepped forward over their Christmas break from college/university to help with the campaign. Thank you."
