Do you have an excellent knowledge of our wonderful area and want to put it to good use while working with a friendly team?

Bridport Town Council is looking for an assistant to work in the busy, award-winning Bridport Tourist Information Centre (TIC).

A flexible attitude, excellent local knowledge, computing, team skills and the ability to offer a high level of customer service are essential.

Jill Beed, who works at Bridport TIC, said: "Bridport Tourist Information is a fantastic place to work, we are friendly, supportive team and work well together, sharing information with visitors, locals and each other.

"We get asked about everything - transport, how to get from A to B or A to B via C, local attractions, accommodation, events, booking tickets, information on local community groups and so much more - including the inevitable, 'what do you do in Bridport when it's raining' question, which is quite tricky to answer when we're in a state of lockdown!

"The main thing about working in Bridport Tourist Information office is you never know what each day will bring, but whatever it is, you'll have a great time with colleagues."

The role requires working every Saturday with the requirement to additional hours by arrangement.
