West Bay Days is back with its Christmas Tree on the Green event this month.

The celebration of having a Christmas tree in West Bay couldn't go ahead as usual last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, although a tree was still erected on the green. It was dubbed a 'beacon of hope' and stayed up until Candlemas Day on February 2 to bring light and cheer in troubling times.

The event will take place on Sunday, November 28 from 4pm, with the lighting of the tree taking place at 5pm.

There will be mulled wine, mince pies and carol singing, in association with Churches Together.

The Christmas tree lights have been sponsored by Shop Around the Corner, incorporating 100 Nauticals Micro Bar.

West Bay Days raises money for local good causes.
