Wondering what to do this weekend? Bridport Nub News has you covered.

We've picked three events happening in and around the town this weekend for you to enjoy:

Friday: Sherlock's Excellent Adventure

Four actors take on this hilarious spoof of Sherlock Holmes and his incomparable sidekick, Dr John Watson. Our Star Theatre Company is bringing fun for all the family to Bridport Arts Centre.

Saturday: The Skalatans

This seven-piece band - made up of Philip Wilcock, Richie Robertson, Jim Sherman, Simon Hartung, Michael Grew, Thomas Hughes and Ben - will be at The Ropemakers pub and will be sure to get you moving.

Sunday: Modern jive social tea dance

All modern jive dancers are invited to join Dee and the Dynamic Dance team for an afternoon of tea, cake and dancing at St Mary's Church Hall. There will be an ice breaker class for all and music will be upbeat.

You can add your events and find more on our What's On page.

Hive Beach Company is the exclusive sponsor of Bridport Nub News' What's On section. Without community-minded partners like them we would not be able to produce dedicated, clickbait-free news to the people of Bridport.
