We've picked three events happening in and around the town this weekend for you to enjoy:

Friday: West Bay Summer Fun Fair

Rides and attractions for all ages. Open daily from 12 noon until 10:30pm. Free entry all day every day. Ride tokens from £1.

Saturday: Bridport Hat Festival

The 2022 Bridport Hat Festival will be held on Saturday 3rd September 2022, 10am–4pm. The festivities will be opened by Mayor Ian Bark at 10am in Bucky Doo Square. This will be followed by a programme of music by young local musicians until the mass photo at 1pm – followed by the judging of the various "Best Hatted" competitions.

The HatFest Garden Party also commences at 10am at the Millennium Green where there will be folk music from local musicians, Hat Hurling, Best Hatted Dog competition and other attractions. Throughout the day there will be hot and cold food, tea & coffee, ice cream, prosecco plus a licensed bar until 6pm.

Sunday: Roast at The Club House

Sunday roasts are back at The Club House.

Two courses for £20 and three courses for £25 for a starter, main or a main and dessert.
