Homecoming for Bridport-born artist
Following the success of a 44-date tour across the UK and Europe, Bridport-born musician Douglas Dare is returning to where it all began.
The former Sir John Colfox Academy student will be holding a homecoming gig at St Peter's Church in Eype on Friday, February 3, performing music from his latest album 'Milkteeth'.
Enjoy some family fun at the panto
Bridport Pantomime Players are currently presenting family favourite Peter Pan at the Electric Palace, with final performances on Friday, February 3and Saturday, February 4.
Celebrate the first signs of spring!
Visitors to Mapperton, near Beaminster, will enjoy the first signs on spring this weekend.
Mapperton Gardens will be open for Snowdrop Sundays on Sunday, February 5 and Sunday, February 12 from 11am to 4pm.
And don't forget Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day is quickly approaching if you're looking for an extra special treat for your loved one, why not post them some delicious brownies?
The Hive Beach Cafe in Burton Bradstock is offering a postal service on boxed brownies for Valentine's Day. A slab of chocolate brownie with nibs of raspberries throughout and dressed with gold leaf – the perfect letterbox gift for a special Valentine or 'Galentine'.
