All Weekend: West Bay Vintage Rally

Come and celebrate the 45th West Bay Vintage Rally at Bridport Showground on Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11.

Step back time for a day, or even the whole weekend of nostalgia, with vintage tractors, cars, bikes and steam engines; plus working displays, exhibits, traders, entertainment and lots more, including falconry and beagles!

Saturday: Table-Top Sale

A table-top sale at Bridport Town Hall on Saturday, June 10 from 10am to 2pm, including crafts, bric-a-brac, refreshment and a raffle.

Saturday: Opening of Bridport Great Big Green Week

Bridport will be joining Great Big Green Week – the UK's biggest ever celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature – with events to be held from Saturday, June 10 to Sunday, June 18.

An opening event will be held from 10.30am to 1.30pm on Saturday, June 10 at the Bridport Community Orchard, including a bike ride around the town.

A number of environment-focussed organisations will hold stalls, including the Allington Hillbillies, Co-op, Bridport Tree Planting, Energy Local Bridport, West Dorset Friends of the Earth, Sustainable Bridport, St Mary's Eco Church, Bridport Town Council and Bridport BeeFriendly. There will also be live music from Squeezebox and refreshments. 

Those wanting to taking part in the bike ride around the town should arrive from 10am for a 10.40am start. Helmets and high-vis jackets for children are required.

Saturday: Make Your Mark - Drawing Day at Othona

Join artists Angela Latham and Jo Burlington of Oops Wow Messy Art for a creative and nurturing day in the grounds of Othona in Burton Bradstock on Saturday, June 10 from 10am to 4pm.

It will be a day filled with playful drawing invitations and short meditations. Explore on paper and in nature at the peaceful art studio and in the magnificent grounds at Othona.

Saturday: Hal Cruttendon - It's Best You Hear It From Me

Beloved comedian Hal Cruttendon is bringing his nationwide tour 'It's Best You Hear It From Me' to the Electric Palace in Bridport on Saturday, June 10

Following a stellar run at Edinburgh Fringe, which cemented Hal's as one of the best reviewed shows of the year and received a slew of top reviews, the comedian is now back on tour with a brand new show entitled 'It's Best You Hear It From Me'.

Sunday: Open Farm Sunday

Open Farm Sunday events will be held at Denhay Farm in Broadoak, near Bridport, on Sunday, June 11 from 10am to 4pm.

The event is being hosted by the Melplash Agricultural Society, Marshwood Vale Farmers' Cluster and Coppet Hill, and is open to all and is free to attend. 

A full programme of informative and fun activities has been organised to give visitors of all ages an opportunity to learn more about farming and the countryside.
