Friday: The Beat at the Electric Palace

Be prepared to dance to some of the most famous ska and reggae songs ever written, as The Beat featuring Ranking Jnr come to the Electric Palace in Bridport on Friday, March 17.

One of the key bands of the UK ska revival of the late 1970s and early 80s, The Beat achieved a near-perfect balance of pop melodies and taut rhythms that made them stars in Britain and won them a worldwide following.

Saturday: The Comedy Store

With nearly 40 years' experience in the business and as the premier name in comedy, The Comedy Store is renowned as a breeding ground for new comedy talent, and remains the place to see tomorrow's stars today.

It will be bringing Phil Nichol, Ola Labib, Steve Williams and Ben Norris to the Electric Palace in Bridport on Saturday, March 18.

Bridport & District gardening Club will hold their annual spring show at the United Church Hall, East Street, from 12noon to 3pm on Saturday, March 18.

The show will include 55 categories, including Daffodils, Narcissi, Cactus/Succulent, Orchid, Primroses, Tulips, Camelia, Herbs, Potatoes, Seedlings, Preserve, Cookery, Floral Art, Easter Card, Easter Bunny, Photography, Children's classes, and many more.
