Plans for a home with its own access off Osbourne Road have been strongly objected to by Bridport Town Council

A proposal for a home to be built near Coneygar Hill has been described as a 'Trojan Horse' to more houses and has been strongly objected to by Bridport Town Council.

Plans for a home with four or more bedrooms off Rawles Way in Osbourne Road, with its own access road, have been submitted to Dorset Council. The land is close to Coneygar Hill, which is managed by Bridport Millennium Green Trust.

Rising beach levels at West Bay mean work to remove a buried sewer has been paused, minimising disruption as lockdown restrictions ease.

Wessex Water had planned to remove the remains of a Victorian brick sewer and other redundant infrastructure at East Beach over the coming weeks, but GPS surveys have shown they are located much deeper below the sand than at the turn of the year.
