Every week we will be sharing a circular walk in and around our local area with directions and photos. We use the OS Map app, which is very useful if you are out walking.

Mass litter pick From Street to Sea is a big success

A mass litter pick across Bridport has been a "big success" as residents came together to clear rubbish from streets and the sea.

On Sunday, people set out from Morrisons and Co-op car parks with litter picks and bin bags to clear local green spaces. It also included West Bay Beach Clean volunteers and people on paddleboards collecting litter from the river.

Latest Covid figures in Dorset: Cases remain low but increase nationally

Coronavirus cases across Dorset, although nationally there is an increase and residents must remain vigilant.

Public Health Dorset reports there are 14 confirmed cases in the last seven days in the Dorset Council area, compared to 19 on May 28, and 34 in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council area, compared to 29 on May 28.
