West Bay Guided Walk - River and Railway

Our popular weekly guided walks are back! Join our friendly and knowledgeable guides on a Thursday morning and enjoy exploring West Bay from a different perspective with our selection of walks covering the history and nature of West Bay. All walks leave from West Discovery Centre, there is a £5 fee per person (no dogs please).

This guided walk has something for everyone, taking in the fascinating story of the West Bay railway and exploring the beautiful flora and fauna along the River Brit. This guided walk is approximately 2 miles and about 90 minutes in length, terrain is easy although there is one slope to the crest of the beach.
