A mass litter pick is coming back to Bridport to clear up its streets, rivers, verges and sea.

From Street to Sea 2 will be taking place on Sunday, October 17.

Participants will start at 10am in Morrisons' small car park, the Co-op and West Bay Discovery Centre.

A spokesman said: "Bridport sadly has its fair share of litter. Our streets, green spaces, rivers and beaches are all spoilt by those who choose to discard rather than dispose of their litter in an environmentally friendly way.

"On Sunday, October 17, a mass litter pick is planned to cover Bridport's streets, rivers and beaches. Bridport Litter Free Street Champions, and West Bay Beach Clean volunteers will be joined by kayakers to carry a whole town litter sweep.

"The more people that get involved the more thorough we can be, so please join the growing army of Litter Free Street Champions to show how much you love and care about the place we call home, Bridport."
