Help reduce your impact on the environment with Litter Free Dorset's Big Business Survey

Bridport businesses are being asked to take part in the Litter Free Dorset Big Business Survey to help reduce their impact on the environment.

Litter Free Dorset - which campaigns to reduce litter, work to improve and maintain bathing water quality and support community projects doing the same - has published a business survey in which it is asking business owners to share their thoughts about commercial waste management, recycling, packaging, drainage, single-sue plastic and more.

A spokesman for Litter free Dorset said: "We want to do everything we can to help businesses find efficient and cost-effective ways to lessen their impact on the environment, cut their carbon footprint and reduce their waste output.

"We know this can be a complex issue, which is why we want to get the real picture of what is going on in Dorset businesses so we can support you more in the future. Your responses to the survey will be followed by a package of resources to help you reduce your overall impact on the environment.

"The sole purpose of the survey is to gather as much information as possible about how things are currently working for businesses so that we can develop resources and strategies to support you more.

"Please be as thorough as possible - it should not take you any longer than 10 minutes."

Litter Free Dorset wants to know:

• What businesses are currently doing to reduce their impact on the environment

• What commercial waste management/recycling is currently in place across different business sectors

• What barriers there are to businesses carrying out effective commercial waste management/recycling

• What help do businesses need to put effective commercial waste management/recycling in place and reduce their environmental impact

• And what can it do to support you in the future

Every business that takes part and submits their details will be entered into a prize draw to win a set of 10 custom embroidered or printed t-shirts for their business, supplied by The Embroidery Barn.

You can find and complete the survey here until February 10.
