An exhibition of rare music posters is now open at Bridport's newest recording studio.

Unbroken Records, at unit 4a, St Michael's Trading Estate, is hosting the Authentics Gallery in a bid to raise community spirit and celebrate inclusion and diversity until September 14.

The gallery is the brainchild of Alex Boot - son of iconic music photographer Adrian Boot - producer James Dent and Elliot Fieldhouse-Allen.

The group has a heavy focus on mental health and is developing a next generation music platform which aims to alleviate anxiety and the pressures caused by modern technology, such as social media.

They said: "The Authentics Gallery serves to celebrate the tangible elements of the music industry and explore how the digital era and computers have changed the music industry and explore how the digital era and computers have changed the way we consume music."

The gallery kicks off with an exhibition of rare posters that give an insight into the history of western culture and how it was promoted before computers and mobile phones.

In addition, Unbroken Records will be opening its studios to the public for the first time. You can look around the recording studio and special effects studio. Get in front of the camera or on the microphone and try it out for yourself.

All items in the gallery will eb for sale with exhibits from £5 with the proceeds funding community art projects for the town.
