The Marine Conservation Society is bringing back the Great British Beach Clean this weekend, with an event taking place in West Bay.

Join other volunteers at 10am on Saturday (September 18) to help clean litter off West Beach.

Participants are recommended to pack a rucksack with a few essentials, including sunscreen, waterproofs, hand sanitiser and perhaps some snacks and a drink.

If you are picking litter with your hands, you will need to bring a pair of gloves, like gardening gloves, to make sure you're protected and wear sturdy shoes too.

Volunteers aged under 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult who will be asked to sign a consent form on the day.
