Bridport Prize wants to hear from students as it launches 'Let it Out' initiative

The Bridport Prize wants to give students a voice during the pandemic as part of its Let it Out initiative.

The international creative writing competition is focusing on new voices to publish on its website about life during the pandemic from different points of view.

To begin with, it is focussing on students as university is not how they planned it.

A spokesman for the Bridport Prize said: "We want to hear what it's really like studying during a pandemic.

"Tell us in 400 words about undergrad life in the shadow of Covid, the highs, lows and laughs.

"We'll publish the best on our blog and give away a free entry to our competition, with £20,000 prize money up for grabs."

Send your blog to [email protected] by January 31.
