Don't miss the quirky Loders and Uploders Scarecrow Festival

There's still time to see the wonderful creations part of the Loders and Uploders Scarecrow Festival.

Villagers have made scarecrows with the theme of fairy tales and they have popped up around both villages.

They will be up until Sunday, June 6 - why not combine a visit with our walk of the week taking in Boarsbarrow Hill and Loders?

Maps are available on the Loders and Uploders Facebook page and the village noticeboards to photograph and find your way around. There will be no maps or voting forms available from phone boxes this year.

Entry fees have gone to support NHS Charities Together, and if you would like to donate, visit nhscharitiestogether.co.uk

Here are just some of the scarecrows we spotted while wandering the villages, but check our Facebook page for more!
