First vaccinations at Bridport Medical Centre will stop from March 29 until further notice due to Covid vaccination supply issues.
There is likely to be delays over the next four weeks.
A spokesman for Bridport Medical Centre said: "NHS England has written to all surgeries and stated that invites for first vaccinations should stop from March 29, until further notice.
"Patients over 50 who have yet to receive a first vaccine will be invited shortly and we ask that these patients take up this offer ASAP before supply ceases.
"This does not affect second doses.
"Please do not call your surgery as staff cannot book into these slots."
The BBC reports the expected reduction in the UK's Covid vaccine supply in April is partly due to a delay in a delivery from India of five million Oxford-AstraZeneca doses.
The shipment, produced by the Serum Institute of India, has been held up by four weeks.
The Serum Institute of India is the world's largest manufacturer of vaccines and earlier this month agreed to supply 10 million doses for the UK, but only half will arrive this month with the rest delayed.
