Sea swimming group Bridport Bluetits celebrated 'tu-tu-tu Tuesday' with a dip at West Bay styling tutus.

On Tuesday the date was 22/2/22 so to mark this, local photographer Neil Barnes went to take photos of the group in their colourful fancy dress.

Despite the sea being a little rough, they had a great time, with one swimmer branding it "a hoot".

Neil Barnes said: "Well done to the Bridport Bluetits who braved some quite rough seas to celebrate twosday and wearing tutus of course!

"They kindly invited me down to get some pictures - and join them in the water. I was happy to oblige with the former but not the latter.

"They all looked like they were having a great time though."

The Bluetits is a worldwide community of people brought together by a love of cold water. There are no club fees, registration, rules or requirements.

The Bridport group started in August 2020 and is now 764 members strong.
