Police are appealing for information after a fail-to-stop crash on Mutton Street in Marshwood

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a fail-to-stop crash near Bridport yesterday (Thursday) evening.

Dorset Police were called at 5.05pm to the crash involving a car and Lexmoto Hawk motorbike on Mutton Street in Marshwood.

The car - described as possibly a blue mini - failed to stop at the scene.

The motorcyclist, a man aged in his 20s from Devon, needed medical treatment.

Police Constable Paul Miners, of West Dorset police, said: "Enquiries are underway to establish the full circumstances of the incident.

"I am keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed what happened.

"I would also like to speak speak to any motorists who were travelling along Mutton Street and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage."
