A pre-loved book sale in Bridport Morrisons has raised £10,000 for charity in just three years.

The supermarket's charity partner is Clic Sargent, which supports children and young people with cancer, so as a store, the team helps raise money for this charity as much as it can.

Three years ago, Steve Doman, who was the then community champion for the shop, set up the book stall and the team has just banked £10,000.

Keira Tait, Bridport Morrisons Community Champion, said: "This amount in three years is amazing, especially during these hard times of Covid in 2020.

"Suggested donations for books is just 50p and the support from the community has blown us away and we wanted to thank everybody for their support."
