A project bringing a wheelchair-friendly community garden and allotment has received a lot of support.

The Cowshed at Plot 17 is a partnership between Bridport Medical centre and Bridport Health and Care Champions and will be a place behind the surgery where patients and the community can visit and take home salads, vegetables and flowers.

It has received overwhelming support from the community and the group would like to thank:

  • Stepping into Nature for a grant
  • Bridport Rotary Club for a tool shed

  • Dave and Sarah Smith for making a workstation table
  • Sue and Helen for being trustees to the health champions
  • Sue, Sharon, Kath, Nick for planning the original site and starting the project with valued input from Bridport Town Council's Daryl and David
  • Neil Barnes for the distinctive Cowshed logo

  • Peter for vegetable poetry
  • Kate and Pauline, the Social Prescribers
