There's still time to donate to Bridport Round Table's Christmas Hamper Campaign

There are just hours left to donate to Bridport Round Table's Christmas Hamper Campaign.

The group launched the fundraiser to ensure local families in need get a full Christmas dinner - and more - during this difficult time.

It has so far raised more than £4,000, with a target of £6,000 and just over 12 hours remaining on its Crowdfunder page.

The hampers include enough food to feed a family of four - a fresh and locally sourced turkey and all the trimmings, cheese, biscuits, chutney, Christmas pudding, yule log and sweets and chocolates.

Each hamper costs around £40, but anything you can give will be gratefully received.

Members ran the campaign for the first time last year after Covid had such a devastating impact on so many and it managed to raise more than £6,000. Working with the team at St Mary's Church, they delivered more than 120 hampers to families in the local area.
