The 17th Bridport Literary Festival is underway in the town, with a range of events on offer.

A brilliant line-up of speakers has been arranged to delight literature lovers.

Monday, November 8

• Parm Sandhu - Black and Blue: One Woman's Story of Policing and Prejudice. The Bull Ballroom at 4.30pm

• Emma Soames - Maty Churchill's War: The Wartime Diaries of Churchill's Youngest Daughter. The Bull Ballroom at 6.30pm

Tuesday, November 9

• Dr. Jim Down: Life Support. The Bull Ballroom at 10am

• Hugo Vickers - Malice in Wonderland: My Adventures with Cecil Beaton. The Bull Ballroom at 2.30pm

• Max Porter - The Death of Francis Bacon. The Bull Ballroom at 4.30pm
