Bridport market will welcome more traders tomorrow (Wednesday) as 'non-essential' stalls will be able to return.

Stalls will again be using laybys and roads, with Downes Street closed on Saturdays and the left hand lane from East Street to South Street closed.

Town surveyor Daryl Chambers said: "We will be working on how it was before with all road regulations still in place, so there will be in the laybys and we will be closing streets on Saturday, as well as using Barrack Street.

"We're attempting to get all the stalls back and leave room for the shops - we're trying to accommodate everyone together.

'It will be great to see it up and running.

'We will be adhering to the road map the Government has laid out and we're looking forward to the town being at its best. Hopefully the market will be back bigger and better."

One stall holder who will be back at Bridport market will be Doug Chalk with his red gazebo. Although he won't be selling his Colmers Hill calendar, he will be there with some of his abstract art.
