We've picked three events happening in and around the town this weekend for you to enjoy:

Friday: Jazz in the Theatre

Bristol Griot will be combining music and storytelling at Bridport Arts Centre's popular Jazz in the Theatre series, celebrating Moussa Kouyate's unique take on his tradition persona as Griot.

The Fairey Band

After two years the popular brass band is back in Beaminster raising money for charity. Enjoy some traditional brass numbers as well as acid brass - acid house anthems with the sound of a traditional brass band.

Sunday: Melissa's Afternoon Tea

A fundraising afternoon tea to raise money to buy an electric wheelchair for Melissa. Enjoy cream teas, cakes, tea, coffee a tombola, raffle, cake sale and more at St Swithin's Church.
