Friday: Concerts in the West

Violist Rosalind Ventris and pianist Richard Uttley

World class musicians – violist Rosalind Ventris and pianist Richard Uttley – will be performing at Bridport Arts Centre on Friday, March 3 at 11.30am as part of the Concerts in the West programme.

They will also be performing at Ilminster Arts Centre that evening and at The dance House, Crewkerne, on the evening of Saturday, March 4.

Saturday: Fairtrade Fortnight Coffee Morning

Fairtrade Fortnight gets underway this week, supported by The Co-op (photo credit: Fairtrade Foundation)

Fairtrade Fortnight kicks off with a coffee morning, cakes and Fairtrade stalls at the Strode Room in Beaminster, from 10am to 12noon on Saturday, March 4. 

This event is being supported by Beaminster Co-op and Co-op Local Member Pioneer Lesley Windsor will be on hand to talk about the initiative.

Saturday: Jess Upton & The Guilty Pleasures

St Catherine's Pre-School is hosting the fundraising gig

Jess Upton and the Guilty Pleasures will be performing at Symondsbury Tithe Barn, near Bridport, on Saturday, March 4 with support from DJ HandJam and wood-fired pizzas from Chariot of Fire.

Tickets cost £12.50 in advance or £15 on the door to support St Catherine's Pre-School.

Sunday: Roast dinner at The Club House
