What better way to start the new year than blowing the cobwebs away and getting over that hangover with a walk with friends and family!

Here are five of our favourite circular walks in and around the town for you to enjoy this bank holiday weekend:

  1. Loders and Boarsbarrow Hill

One of the first walks we did for Bridport Nub News and one of our favourites! It was three miles and overgrown in some places but well worth it.

  1. Walditch

A definite firm favourite loop of ours as it gives stunning views of Bridport and West Bay!

  1. Symondsbury

A great leisurely walk with no steep inclines - unless you incorporate a walk up Colmer's Hill! A great loop for walking slow and having a chat.

  1. Allington

Explore the lovely countryside in Allington with this 2.4-mile long circular route. Why do climb up and explore Allington Hill too?

  1. Watton Hill

Some steep climbs on this one but it gives lovely views and the opportunity to explore Watton Hill!
