The fashion label of a Bridport boutique owner has featured in a hard-hitting music video by Mel B.

Penny Callaghan, who owns Colmers Hill Fashion in Symondsbury, had one of the long robes - which she aptly named 'hope' - in her From My Mother's Garden label appear in the final scene of 'Love Should Not Hurt'.

Penny said: "Mel B launched a music video with composer Fabio Andrea and choreographer Ashley Wallen with Women's Aid charity. It's a very powerful and hard-hitting video about domestic abuse.

"It came about because one of my stocklists in Essex of the label helped style Mel B with some of her sustainable brands including From My Mother's Garden.

"It's a difficult story to tell and it's had a lot press. Although it is a hard subject matter, I am proud to have been involved in some small way in such an amazing production with such an important message."
