Bridport's popular vintage Sunday market is back this weekend - and under new management.

The market started in 2009 and will return to St Michael's Trading Estate on Sunday, March 27 from 10am to 4pm.

In recent years, the day to day running of the market has been the responsibility of Richard and Sam Payne-Withers of Alleyways Antiques, but they have decided to take a back seat and a new group of St Michael's tenants are taking over.

The monthly market, now a fixture in the Bridport calendar on the last Sunday of the month, was launched in 2009 as a natural extension to the many antique, collectable, retro and vintage businesses that are based on the estate.

In a statement, the new organising group say it is aiming to "build on the wonderful vibrancy and eclectic atmosphere that has been established over the years by providing the right mix of St Michael's existing tenants, outside traders who pitch up on the day, food and live music".

Bridport Vintage Market will also be taking place on April 24, May 29, June 26, July 31, August 29, September 25 and October 30.
